Welcome to The Fun Palace Radio Variety Show
A podcast from a live event.
In each download you get a few songs, a story, a little bit of funny and a little bit of earnest. You know, a variety.
The podcast is hosted by Cedric Littlewood, who is slowly discovering why.
The Fun Palace Radio Variety Show brings you music of the uncommon, beautiful sort; a mix of new, old, and future stories with the Fun Palace Players; questions in the dark; and special visits from special guests.
A real treat. Smart, funny, self-aware but not self-satisfied, it was great live theater that also makes for excellent radio. - Culturebot.org

about Small Wooden Shoe
Founded in 2001 by Jacob Zimmer, Small Wooden Shoe is a (mostly) theatre company that swings between the intimate and the epic.
Believing that developing a sound artistic practice shouldn’t limit us to one style or genre, our work has included challenging staged readings (Life of Galileo for Tracy Wright, Difficult Plays and Simple Songs), live-to-tape variety shows (The Fun Palace Radio Variety Show) adaptions of classic stories (Antigone Dead People), intimate conversations (Sedition – or Kindness Makes Me Cry Like Nothing Else, Perhaps in a Hundred Years) and the show about scientific revolutions we toured across the country (Dedicated to the Revolutions.) We have also convened a massive Unconference, Christmas concerts, on-line think tanks, public meetings, taught workshops, given keynote lectures and work on publications, all of which we consider to be part of the same larger project that is Small Wooden Shoe.
